#DivaStamp Bruno Mars "Grenade" Official Video

Bruno Mars is not my type but anyman that says he'd jump in front of a train for you, take a bullet to the brain for you, & die for you is definitely a keeper!

Does T.I Deserve Mercy from Fans + Preview No Mercy

In the December 2010 / January 2011 issue of Vibe magazine T.I holds down one of the covers (Keri Hilson holds the other ) in a intimate interview with Erick Parker titled Mercy Me and it got me thinking...Does he deserve mercy from the fans this time around? We've all followed and watched T. I go down this horrible path of destruction, in and out of prison, and now drug abuse. Has the the King lost it?

In the interview T.I opens up to Parker about unfair punishment by the judge, his drug addiction to Oxycontin and Hydrocodone, feeling like dying, and comparisons to Tupac!
Read the exerts below:

On the officer stating the smell of weed is what alluded them to search the vehicle that fateful night he and wife Tiny were pulled over:
"I don't smoke weed. I don't allow anybody to smoke weed in my car. I don't see how he could have. I'm not going to point the finger and call him a liar. It doesn't benefit my situation much to stand on soapbox and say, "He's a liar, he's a liar," But there were no ashes in the ashtray. There is no weed in my system."

On how he got a drug habit:
"I had a lot of work done to my teeth. Oral surgery, extractions, six, seven, eight root canal. Between January and February. Of course for the pain they game me Oxycontin and Hydrocodone. And mind you, October 13Th, 2007, I had cut off everything - weed, alcohol. Then I get these pills and I start taking them for the pain at first. And them I'm like, Wait - this shit makes me feel good. And it's legal. After the pain went away I kept taking it. I had like five, six perscriptions. So I had like 80 pills. Everybody else might drink or smoke a blunt, I took a pain pill. Times when I had 18-20 hour days, I'd take a pain pill. It takes the edge off. You're really not stressed or worried about the problems of the day."

On feeling like dying:
"I felt like dying but I ain't never considered killing myself. I felt like it would be easier to die than to go through whatever it is that I go through. I never considered killing myself. But I've definitely gotten tired."

On the decision to finally marry the mother of his children, Tiny, after years together:
"I could have had it either way. I was happy as we was, but I understand that as a woman it's a sense of entitlement, security, an accolade women treasure. Knowing how much it meant to her - sure. I don't have any objections. I'm not going nowhere. If that's what I can do for you, let's do it. I'm riding with you, you rode with me. Let's go. If you ask yourself what does a woman have to do to assure you that she is down for you, everything you could possibly answer she has already done."
On his comparisons to Tupac:
"I was out for nine months without trouble... In those nine months, I got [sentenced to] another 11 months. When Pac got out, he was out for nine months, but after those nine months her died. There is some light at the end of that tunnel. I might not feel like living all the time, but I damns sure don't feel like dying. I might want to press pause, fast forward, or rewind. But I damn sure don't want to die."

After reading this interview I got a better understanding of T.I and what he and his family is going through. As a women in a family where all the men travel that same path I just pray that he gets the help he needs because he 's in a better position to help than most. It doesn't matter how many times we mess up, it's what we do to redeem ourselves.

So I ask does the King deserve mercy from fans?

Let me know your comments.

Make or Break time for Keri Hilson w/ No Boys Allowed Album

Hey Divas,

So there's been plenty of controversy over Keri Hilson's new video featuring Rick Ross for her new single "The Way You Love Me". I actually like Keri Hilson but I definitely see a change in her since this video has come out. I'm not sure if its a plea for attention in a world where Beyonce is going double platinum in a week, and Lady Gaga sweeping the VMA's...but there's something going on here. In her recent video "The Way You Love Me" she's licking doors, pelvic thrusting w/ tiny panties on legs wide open, singing "fuck me fuck me". That's not the Keri Hilson that so many of her fans fell in love with. She always had that sex appeal within that just exuded in anything that she does (not to mention she's gorgeous). So why now?

I'm thinking maybe it's because she didn't get the response she wanted from the first 2 singles she dropped, "Breaking Point" & "Pretty Girl Rock", from her sophomore album No Boys Allowed. She didn't even give it time to set into people's brain. On top of all that she does a video interview w/ Perez Hilton to defend the explicit video screaming out "sometimes I just wanna be fucked"! WORD KERI????

I previewed her No Boys Allowed album that hit stores December 21st and its not bad. It's pretty good. So was this just an publicity stunt to stir the pot some before the album drops?

Let me know your thoughts?

Gran Prix Racing

Last weekend I went and did something I don't think people would normally assume I would do. I went go kart racing! I know lol! Well it was so much fun. It's so real and the people at Gran Prix were really nice. One thing is for sure it's safety all the way first. When you first get there you have to register because its a membership type place. After that the send you off to his private room to watch a video. It sort of reminded me of the video you watch when you take your 5 Hours Class at a driving school. After the video is done you are instructed to go to the changing room and gear up. Gear Up!!! That sounds so official lol! Anyway, I mean you have to put on a jumpsuit, a head sock, a helmet, and a neck guard. It was so much on me, and you all know I'm so tiny, that I felt weighed down.
Now once you're geared up you go on to the track. Now these go karts go 40mph with 6.5hp around this bendy, curvy track and each race is 9 mins (approx 4 1/2 miles long). When the race first started this was something completely new to me. All I kept saying in my helmet to myself was, "I don't wanna do this anymore, I don't wanna do this anymore". But by that time is was too late, lol. After a few laps around the track and being bumped a few times I go more comfortable. I started pushing up the speed and whipping around those corners. It actually turned out to be alot of fun. I'm definitely going back to feed my need for speed!

Checkin in on me, So I can check in with you!

Some of you have been to the site many times, but for you first timers welcome! Last night I decided I needed some sort of change in my life, so I said, "hey let me update my blog". Whole I'm at it how about being more active on it too! For the past year and half I can honestly say I haven't given my all to this blog. I could blame it on lack of inspiration, poor time management skills, or just the ups and downs of life. But that's when it all came back to me. For the longest I've always been the girl who had to make lists for everything (my friend Simona will attest to that). So when I stopped writing and journaling and blogging, when life got a little too complicated I let it take over me. But not anymore! Fab Life Of Summer B was initially me opening up a part of me for you all to see, but over time I stopped checking in on me and kind of got lost in the shuffle of life.

After lots of tears and bottles of Bartenura (my fave Moscato) I decided to make some changes. What better time to start than now? Why wait til January 1st to decide to make changes when I'm already doing them today? I hope you will enjoy what's soon to come!

Team Player to Power Couple Material

As a professional sometimes it's hard trying to balance out life and a professional career. What makes it more difficult is if you are involved with someone who doesn't want to be a "Team Player". What I mean when I say "Team Player" is that significant other who is 100% supportive of what you do with no room for insecurities that only cause problems. Where you going? Why you have to go now? Who is that calling you at this time? etc. In this century nobody really just works a 9-5! This generation is full of hustlers who work non-stop toward greatness and then you have those who just can't handle that. They don't see the goal nor can understand the game plan.

When you have a "Team Player" it makes the road to success so much easier. Not having to worry about disappointment when at times work must come first, or when you're glued to your blackberry or iPhone because you have to send out an important email, or when the nature of what you do becomes a judgement call issue. Not everyone is built to be a "GREAT" at something but those who are don't work off emotions. They tend to be more logical. Therefore, the person they need to be with is someone that equally understands that.

That brings us to the "Power Couple". When you have two successful people who understand their role in the relationship and is in control of their emotions then that's when you get to become a "Power Couple". It's like looking at the relationship as a business. And what better person to be in business with than with someone you respect, you support, you admire, and are in love with than your "Team Player".

If you have plans of doing great things and you have someone who is constantly nagging or complaining about what you do. Then they don't accept you, and for that you tell them to KICK ROCKS!

How Do You Get Through Relationship Cycles?

Do all relationships go through cycles? The beginning is the most shallow part of the relationship. Most of the time it's off pure physical attraction. Which leads to you wanting to be around or with that person every second of the day. Then you have what some call the 7 month itch. At this point you two start to get on each others nerves. Some may decide to take a break from the relationship because let's face it, they don't want to break up but they don't have a clue what to do to fix the problem other than put the relationship on a time out.

I believe that relationships flow in cycles. The I Love You Cycle and The I Can't Stand You Right Now Cycle. LOL! This haunts me because many people look at this as maybe this is just not working. He or she just not the one for me. Is that the actual case? When you don't have any other problems or issues in the relationship is it possible that people look for something to bicker about?

What do you do at those times that does not include taking a break?
